Do ya’ll remember Sweet Suspense from X Factor season 3? That’s OK. I barely did, either. The group is still together, and has announced a personnel change.
The newest member is The Voice 7 alum, Bryana Salaz, who joins Summer Reign and Millie Thrasher, as Celine Polenghi exits the group, reports Just Jared.
The trio, put together by Simon Cowell, was somewhat surprisingly eliminated at the Top 12, after performing an energetic rendition of the 80’s hit, “Mickey.” After not being signed, I assumed the group would drift apart after awhile. But, as it turns out, the girls continued to plug away as a team.
The group’s path is similar to their fellow group mates from that year, Restless Road. The country boy band, also manufactured by Simon, continue to perform together, despite having to replace a departing member.
Here’s Bryana’s Intro
The trio will also be part of the Pop Nation tour this summer, put together by manager, Johnny Wright.

In case you need a refresher (I did) here are a few highlights from the girls’ reality competition days.
Sweet Suspense perform “Mickey”
Simon Cowell raves, while Demi Lovato and Kelly Rowland give them the side eye. The performance wasn’t the worst of the night, but the judges comments might have done them in. Plus. Girls.
The girls are in shock after being eliminated.
STILL shocked, in a post-elimination interview. Celine already looks over it. Surprising that she lasted another year and a half.
Here’s Bryana’s The Voice Season 7 Blind Audition. She ended up on Team Gwen Stefani. Her rendition of “Problem” shows pop potential, but she’s obviously very green. VERY GREEN.

Bryanna sang “Heart Attack” in the Knockouts.

Nevertheless, Bryana made it to the Live Playoffs, where she was eliminated after singing “Amnesia.”

Good luck to the new Sweet Suspense. With Season 2 alums, Fifth Harmony’s fortunes on the rise, they are probably hoping their time has come.
