Cassadee Pope performed “Til I Can Make It On My Own”, a song recorded by Tammy Wynette in 1976, live at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, on September 23.
The Voice season 3 winner introduced the song, “This is one of my grandpa’s favorite songs and I hope I don’t mess it up!”
Wynette wrote “‘Til I Can Make It on My Own” with her husband, George Richey, and longtime collaborator, Billy Sherrill.
Cassadee delivered a beautiful, heart rending performance of the classic country hit.
