Melanie Martinez, the 20 year old chanteuse from season 3 of The Voice has unveiled the cover art for her forthcoming album, Crybaby. The singer revealed the photo to fans via twitter.

Crybaby currently has an August 14 drop date. The run-up to the release has included unleashing surreal videos for two cuts from the album, the pink party chaos of “Pity Party” and the dark and anxious, “Soap.” The new album cover evokes a girl who literally has her head in the clouds, tears raining down on a creepy looking suburban landscape. Could this young woman’s childhood have been as sad as it seems?
