NBC’s The Voice remained the night’s top broadcast with a 1.6 rating in the key 18-49 demo and 8.78 million viewers, down just a bit from last week’s season premiere 1.7 rating and 8.93 million viewers. It only won the night due to its 2 hour time slot, as FOX’s 9-1-1 tied with The Voice in the key demo. Also, the show’s nearly 9 million viewers won the night.
On ABC, Dancing with the Stars averaged a 0.9 in the demo with 6.9 million viewers, up from its 0.8 and 6.4 million viewer audience last week.
NOTE: NBC and ABC ratings are subject to downward adjustments as football games aired on affiliate stations for both networks.
UPDATE: Both DWTS and The Voice adjusted down in the final update.
