Chloe Kohanski truly is The Voice queen of iTunes. After an arguably lackluster performance of the new wave classic, “Call Me,” the iTunes studio recording still managed to quickly climb into the Top 10. I mean. She sang within a five note range and barely moved away from the mic. CHLOE HAS GOT PEOPLE. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve admired most of her performances. I fully expected her aching rendition of “Total Eclipse of the Heart” last week to shoot up the chart. And it did–to No 1.

Chloe did really well. But she couldn’t beat Jesus. NOBODY CAN BEAT JESUS ON THE VOICE. Brooke Simpson makes her first entry into the Top 10, hitting No 2, with a full-throated performance of “Amazing Grace.” I’m surprised she didn’t keep that in her pocket until next week’s bloodbath. But I’m sure others have the same idea. Can’t have a night filled with only Christian/Gospel music, now can we. Addison Agen made the Top 5. I’m a little surprised after performing last and impressively, she’s charting behind Chloe. But then–queen of iTunes! Chloe has four more songs charting in the Top 200.
I expected a middling showing for Noah Mac on iTunes. I actually downloaded his song. Not the way I usually vote. AND I only voted for him. Frankly, I’m worried he’s going to land in the bottom 3 tomorrow. Sigh. Keisha Renee makes her first appearance in the Top 10 for a Top 10 worthy performance. She could be a little dark horse and sneak into the Final Four: Chloe, Addison, Red Marlow and Keisha. Maybe.
