Eighteen year old Alexa Cappelli gets coaches Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson to turn their chairs with a rendition of Kiki Dee’s 70’s hit, “I’ve Got the Music in Me.”
The big voiced singer impressed Kelly. “You’ve got to be tired from all those runs!” she gushes afterward.
Although Alicia Keys didn’t turn for the young singer, she wanted her to know that she was “wowed” by her voice. And almost immediately, Blake Shelton begins advocating for his pal Kelly. “You need to be with Kelly Clarkson!” he says. “His opinion is irrelevant!” Adam insists, “Because he didn’t press his button!”
Alexa, however, seems destined for Kelly’s team after admitting that she was a big fan. She performs a bit of Kelly’s “People Like Us” for her and well, I think we know where this is going. But you’ll have to tune in tonight (March 6) to find out who she picks as her coach.
Bonus: Steve Carell makes a cameo!
