Todd Tilghman – We Got Tonight – 41 – Meridian, Mississippi – Todd has been married for 21 years, He has never sung anywhere outside of church. 4 chair turn – Todd Picks Team Blake
Nelson Cade III – Pride and Joy – 27 – Anaheim. California – He has been playing for a long time. Once met and sang with Stevie Wonder. Nelson says that he studied classical piano and his personal hero is John Legend. 4 chair turn, but John blocks Nick. Nelson picks Team Legend – CLICK FOR A PREVIEW
Tate Brusa – Perfect – 16 – Salt Lake City, Utah – He’s on the golf team in high school and plays multiple instruments. Nick used a notepad to write down one word for each audition. The coaches tease him about it. He writes FIGHT for Tate. Nick and Blake turn. Blake uses a puppy to try and lure him onto his team. But, he loves the Jonas Brothers. Tate picks Team Nick.
Tayler Green – Issues by Julia Michaels – 27 – Los Angeles currently, but she’s originally from New Jersey – The singer works in a shoe store owned by her brother. Kelly and Nick turn. Tayler picks Team Kelly.
Ashley Plath – Baby It’s You – 20 – Middletown NJ – She performs in a duo called Nick & Ashley and is a meter reader. No Turns.
Darius Lyles – How Do You Sleep by Sam Smith – 30 – Chicago IL – Darius sang in church. He learned he was adopted, reconnected with his birth mom, and lost his adopted parents. John and Kelly turn. Darius picks Team Legend.
Megan Danielle – Remedy – 17 – Georgia – She works in a restaurant with her mom and sister and sings at open mic nights. Only Kelly Turns
Chrissy Joly – Don’t Let Me Down – 32 – Brooklyn NY – Dad plays guitar. Her family is from Haiti. No Turns. But the coaches urge her to come back next season and try again.
Todd Michael Hall – Jukebox Heroes by Foreigner – 50 – Saginaw MI – Todd is a big rock fan, so Blake names the first records that he bought to impress him. Blake and John turn. Todd Picks Team Blake
Emily Bass – Love Yourself by Justin Bieber – 16 – Texas – Emily is a no turn from last season. She gave the judges portraits that she drew. This year she has a drawing for Nick. Still, No Turns.
Joanna Serenko – All My Lovin’ – 18 – St. Louis MO – Joanna comes from a family of nurses. 4 chair turn. Kelly says that in all of her years on the show, she has never heard anyone like her. Joanna Picks Team Nick.
