After a five year courtship, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are engaged! The couple announced the news on social media.
“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!” Blake wrote on Instagram, alongside of a photo of the couple. Gwen flashes her ring. “Yes please!” writes Gwen on her Instagram account, next to the same photo.

Blake and Gwen are currently coaches on The Voice season 19. The Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds and Knockouts have already been taped. So, fans won’t get to see Gwen flashing her ring until The Voice goes live in November/December.
And unfortunately, Gwen will NOT be a part of The Voice season 2o. The Blind auditions for the spring cycle are filming now, and virtual audience members report that Nick Jonas has returned to once again take Gwen’s place.
But it’s all good! Because Gwen and Blake are getting hitched. And to think, back in 2015, I was convinced their relationship was pure PR. An unlikely couple, the two began dating after acrimonious divorces from their respective spouses. Gwen split from rocker Gavin Rossdale after a cheating scandal (He was sleeping with the baby sitter. Oof) And at around the same time, Blake’s high profile marriage to country star Miranda Lambert blew up, leaving he-said/she-said recriminations in its wake.
