Danielle Bradbery’s long-awaited sophomore album I Don’t Believe We’ve Met dropped on Friday (Dec 1). The Voice season 4 winner kicked off promotion of the new set the same day with a performance of “Worth It” on Megyn Kelly Today.
Danielle was only 16 years old when she took the crown in 2013, she explained to Megyn. Since then, the former Team Blake Shelton member has blossomed into a prolific singer songwriter, co-penning most of the tunes on the new album.
“I wasn’t a part of the writing on that first record,” Danielle told Rolling Stone Country in a recent interview. “So I know the feeling of singing something that’s not really you. The whole thing was very much Voice-driven. Afterwards, I wanted to sit down, without all the craziness, and ask myself, ‘Who is Danielle?'”
Danielle wrote the ballad with Jeff Pardo and Molly Reed. Check out her performance below
