Miley Cyrus is returning to her big red chair on The Voice come September. And you know what that means. The singer has some music to promote. Miley recently announced her next album, Younger Now, and now she’s dropped a video for the title track.
Gone are the crazy outfits and sexual innuendos. Miley’s new sound is retro-rootsy pop. And as someone who has never been a big fan of her music, I gotta say I like this new song. It reminds me a little of the alt pop country that came out of North Carolina and Georgia back in the 80’s.
In the clip, co-directed by Diane Martel and Miley, the singer pays homage to one of her favorite artists, Elvis Presley, who died 40 years ago this week.
