Thunderstorm competed on the “COVID season” of The Voice in spring 2020, receiving a four chair turn for his Blind Audition song, “Blackbird,” by the Beatles. Because of the pandemic, all the live shows were filmed remotely from singers homes. Although coach Nick Jonas stole the singer-songwriter from John Legend in the Knockouts, the two didn’t work together face to face! After performing the classic “What a Wonderful World” and his self-penned song, “Sedona” from home on the remote finale, the Hawaiian native finished the season in third place.
He’s released several singles and EPs since The Voice, including “Even If” and “All is Fair in Love and War” in 2021, and “Take Me to the Fire,” “Oh Little River” and “Wildfire” in 2022.
