The Voice standout Wendy Moten took a scary spill on stage during Tuesday’s LIVE Top 11 results show. But she’s OK! (Read the full Recap)

Members of Team Blake Shelton, including Wendy, had just finished performing The Four Tops “Sugar Pie Honey Bunch.” As they left the stage, Wendy seemed to slip on the floor and fell flat on her stomach. Hard. A scary moment, Wendy just lay still for a second as  team members Lana Scott and Paris Winningham hovered around her.

A concerned Carson Daly stopped what he was doing to say. “Let’s take a quick second. We just had somebody fall.” As Paris helped Wendy up, the studio went completely silent. Dead air. Blake ran back on stage to make sure Wendy was OK. She walked off stage, but seemed shaken and perhaps injured. Lana cleared the stage of a microphone stand. “Give us one second,” said Carson. “Give us one second everybody to make sure we’re OK clearing the stage.” He added, “We have some people coming to help now.”

Once the stage cleared, the audience broke out in wild applause for Wendy. “Unfortunate event from Wendy Moten,” said a clearly concerned Carson. “She’s walking off and we hope she’s OK.”

After the commercial, a BIG relief as Wendy stood smiling next to Carson. She’s OK! “A big night at The Voice,” said Carson. “But most importantly, we’ve got Wendy Moten here.” he said. “You scared us all. We’ve never had anything like that happen before. Are you OK?”

“Yes, I’m OK,” Wendy assured the crowd and folks at home. “I’m a little bruised. But you know what? I’m still ready to go!” The mishap was likely more embarrassing than anything else. Damned those platform boots. Right?

Watch Wendy Moten take a tumble on stage and bounce right back!
