Check out the premiere for Keith Urban’s new single, “Cop Car.” Written by Zac Crowell, Sam Hunt, and Matt Jenkins, “Cop Car” is the 3rd single off Keith’s current album, Fuse.
Directed by John Urbano, the video intersperses footage of Keith performing with his band with footage of a young couple getting caught after sneaking past a trespassing sign to watch planes taking off from a nearby airport.
What do you think of the song and video?
UPDATE: Hm. The day after Keith performed the song with Gary Clark, Jr. at the Grammys, co-writer Sam Hunt tweets:
I worked hard on "Cop Car." Everything I poured into that song was stolen from me. I unfortunately can't celebrate it being on the Grammys

He has his own version of the song, which he made available on his July 2013 Mixtape. Wonder what’s going on here. Was the song pitched/cut to Keith without Sam Hunt’s knowledge? Did something else happen on the publishing side that caused Sam Hunt to feel screwed over?
Thanks @judyjohnsonca for this video of Keith mentioning Sam Hunt on AI last season.
