The Voice 8 is just around the corner. That means, it’s time for Reveal Day! It’s that special day when contestants who advanced to the blind auditions are given the go-ahead by producers to begin promoting their participation on the show.
On Friday, the flurry of tweets began, from hopefuls announcing, “I auditioned for The Voice!” The twitter announcements were accompanied by this photo promo:
Here are the results of my research: 40 names, along with twitter and Youtube links, for those who want to get to know the hopefuls a little better before the competition begins.
The Voice 8 premieres on NBC Monday February 23 with coaches, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton. Carson Daly returns as host.
It’s worth noting that one of the contestants, Meghan Linsey, was part of the country duo, Steel Magnolia which won Can You Duet in 2009. Scott Borchetta was a judge on this CMT competition, produced by Freemantle Media. The duo was subsequently signed by Big Machine Records.
