Remember the quirky young singer, Melanie Martinez who represented on Team Adam Levine during The Voice Season 3? That’s the season pop country singer, Cassadee Pope took it all, and English rocker, Terry McDermott came in second.
Melanie managed to make it all the way to the Top 6 with oddball interpretations of songs like The White Stripes’ “7 Nation Army” and Young the Giant’s “Cough Syrup.”
The young singer, who is still only 18, has just released her first single. The tune, “Dollhouse” takes a harrowing looking inside the world of a dysfunctional family. All I can say, is that I hope the song isn’t autobiographical!
