Morgan Wallen FALLS HARD on Stage!
WHOOPSIE DOODLE. Morgan Wallen took a major fall on stage Thursday night during a concert at the KFC Yum! Center Thursday night.
As he belts out his hit “Heartless,” The Voice season 6 alum loses his footing and completely wipes out. Morgan disappears in a cloud of stage fog before he pops right back up. He stops singing for only a few seconds before recovering. The fog obscures the floor. He probably tripped over something he couldn’t see.
Eyewitnesses who attended the show tell TMZ there were some technical issues with the lighting along the bottom of the stage.
After getting back on his feet, Morgan resumes as if nothing happened. But what’s a little embarrasment for the singer while he sells out venues across the country on his “One Night at a Time Tour.” The country singer garners massive streams and sales of his latest album, One Thing at a Time, and its singles.
Morgan’s career? Not falling
According to Billboard, Morgan’s song “Last Night” leads the Country Songs chart for a 10th week. The track joins the singer’s 19-week Hot Country Songs No. 1 from 2022, “You Proof,” as the second song from his One Thing at a Time album to reign for double-digit weeks. The set becomes the first with two such leaders since the chart launched as an all-encompassing genre survey in October 1958.
One Thing at a Time tops the Billboard 200 for a sixth week, with 167,000 equivalent album units earned April 7-13, while he also sits atop the Billboard Artist 100 chart for a fifth week.
One Thing at a Time, which includes a whopping 36 tracks, dropped March 3 on Big Loud Records. “This record represents the last few years of my life, the highs and the lows,” Morgan shared in a press statement. “It also brings together the musical influences that have shaped me as an artist – country, alternative and hip-hop. There are 36 songs on this album because we just kept exploring with fresh lyrics, music and production ideas and these are the songs that felt right to me. It was a blast to create, and I was so grateful to be back in the studio to lay this out for my fans.”
