Check out a first look at Playmobil: The Movie. The animated feature stars American Idol season 8 alum Adam Lambert, The Four judge Meghan Trainor, Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch), Gabriel Bateman (Lights Out), Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and comic Jim Gaffigan.
Based on a popular kids toy line, based on the action in the clip, the movie follows siblings into time travelling adventures, from the wild west to, conquering Vikings and ancient Rome. Adam voices the evil Emperor Maximus, who presides over a wacky version of the gladiator games. His bit in the trailer is quite amusing.
Adam and Meghan will both contribute original songs to the production.
“Here’s a first look at the teaser trailer and my character,” the singer and Queen frontman wrote on twitter, with a link to the clip.
