Tickets are available NOW for The Voice season 14 Battle Rounds taping. Get your tix while they are still available at 1iota.com! The battle rounds are set to film on Tuesday January 23 and Wednesday January 24 at Universal Studios.
Season 14 doesn’t premiere until Monday February 26 on NBC. Nevertheless, the cycle is well underway. New coach Kelly Clarkson, returnee Alicia Keys and veterans Blake Shelton and Adam Levine along with host Carson Daly taped the Blind Auditions way back in October.
Our Top 48 has been chosen! Now it’s time to whittle the field via battle duets each performer goes head to head with another member of his/her Coach’s team. Typically what comes next (formats can change season to season. Stay tuned!) The Knockouts. Again, team members battle against one another, but with solo performances of their own choosing. The surviving Knockout performers head to The Playoffs–a team-by-team competition, in which each coach chooses three out of the remaining five artists to continue into the Live Rounds. In most seasons the Playoffs have been live. The Season 13 Playoffs, however, were taped ahead well ahead of the actual air date.

In other news, season 13 wrapped up on December 19 with Chloe Kohanski being crowned the winner of The Voice. Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus are exiting for now. But both superstar artists would love to return.
“I would like to come back any time because I love making music,” Miley told Parade magazine. “I will say that it has been so much fun sitting next to Jennifer—she has done this before in the U.K. so she knew how it worked—but it has been fun to be the one to explain the dynamic, mostly between these two [Shelton and Levine]. It is very self-explanatory if you are on set the first hour. They have been doing this together for so long, they have their dynamic, they have their shtick.”
“Everything Miley just said,” Jennifer agreed. “I love all these guys. I have had a great time. It has been a lot of fun. It’s great to be around a lot of talent, and then sitting in the chair and have people sing to me, what else is there to do? Again, I am grateful for the experience and I would love to come back. It is a treat to put on a gown and just sit in the chair and listen to people sing to me and be a part of their dream.” Jennifer will remain a member of The Voice family. She’s a member of The Voice UK coaching panel, set to premiere on Saturday January 6.
As far as new comer Kelly Clarkson is concerned? “You can never replace Miley, and I hope we never have to,” Blake told Parade regarding the former coach. “I hope she always comes back, but we did find a person who can talk equally as much as Miley and that’s Kelly Clarkson. Words come out of her mouth without breathing.”
“It’s like the Micro Machines Man (John Moschitta Jr.). Remember him?” Adam joked.
