Most of the rounds will be taped by the time the show hits the airwaves. The Blind auditions were taped in Los Angeles back in October. On January 22 and 23 the coaches return to Universal Studios to tape the Battle Rounds. And NOW we have a date for the Knockouts. Mark your calendars for February 6, Los Angeles people! That’s when the singers who survive the Battle Rounds compete in the Knockouts for a spot in the Playoffs.
The Top 20 will already be set before the show premiers later in the month. But, that is typically how NBC rolls when it comes to scheduling.
Kelly tweeted on Thursday (Jan 18) during a Grammy twitter Q&A that the coaches have already filmed their start of season group number.
We may or may not have already filmed something for our season where we may or may not be singing together ? She's rad! #GRAMMYsAskKelly https://t.co/OGc5WieKJU
