The Voice announces Keith Urban as Season 25 Knockouts Mega-Mentor
Keith Urban will serve as mega-mentor for the upcoming The Voice season 25 Knockout rounds. The country singer will help all four coaching teams–John Legend, Reba McEntire, Chance the Rapper and Dan + Shay–prepare their teams for their Knockout performances.
Keith has a long history with talent shows. He served as a Coach on The Voice Australia season 1 in 2012 alongside Seal, Delta Goodrem, and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte. He left the show to join the American Idol judges panel for the ill fated season 12 alongside Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Randy Jackson. Keith stayed on the panel until FOX cancelled the show after season 15 in 2016. Additionally, Keith served as a The Voice US Battle Round mentor for Blake Shelton on season 15 in 2018.
Recently, Keith appeared on The Voice season 24 finale last December to perform “Blue Ain’t Your Color.” Since then, he has released new singles “Straight Line” and “Messed Up As Me.”
The Voice 25 Knockouts begin April 8
