Jen and Liv from Team will.i.am, first ever group to win The Voice UK
The Voice UK wrapped up its 2023 season Saturday night (Dec 30) on ITV. Will.i.am coached the winning act, duo Jen and Liv. The duo, from Newcastle, met while performing in a Little Mix tribute band.
They beat Team Olly Mur’s Hope Winter, Team Anne-Marie’s Jolie Stevens and Team Tom Jones’ Callum Doignie after the four finalists competed against each other in the final. 21-year-old Jenna and 24-year-old Olivia are the first ever group to win The Voice UK.
The two said after their victory “We are just really grateful, we’ve worked really hard and our families over there, we love them so much. All the coaches, Will you’ve been so life changing for us we just feel amazing, thank you everyone, thank you.”
The studio audience and virtual audience members voted for the winner, who won a recording contract with Universal Music, a £50,000 cash prize, and a luxury holiday to Mauritius.

Will.i.am said: “Seeing the girls, they remind me of me and Apl, me and my best friend. To see people who really truly appreciate one another and support one another it just reminds me of the person that I built my dream with and that’s my best friend.”
In the finale, the top four contestants each performed a solo song and then a duet with their coach. Jen & Liv performed “I’m Every Woman” as their winners performance and teamed up with will.i.am for “Break My Soul.”
The two sang “Woman” by Doja Cat for their blind audition, earning chair turns from all four coaches, with host Emma Willis standing in for Will.i.am. During the callbacks, they sang ABCDEFU, followed by Michael Buble’s Sway in the semi-finals, which earned them their spot in Saturday’s finale.
