MAJOR CORRECTION:
I have to apologize to both Qassim Middleton and Josh Sanders, both American Idol contestants, for besmirching their reputations. Neither contestant was involved in a fist fight as I reported erroneously earlier today. Nor were they kicked off the show. In fact, at least one of them is probably not even in the Top 24.
I learned this after having a telephone conversation with a source connected to Idol.
Yes, my friends. Just like last year when I received an elaborate, convincing but PHONY press release from a source that claimed, among other things, that the American Idol 13 finale would take place at Madison Square Garden, I was trolled again. You would think that I would learn? But this time, the troller used an elaborate set up of Sock Puppets, which led me to believe I was cross checking the information with separate, independent sources. I was lulled into a false sense of security.
But regardless, I posted bad information. REALLY bad information, and that comes down to me. I am responsible.
I want to say that I DO have trustworthy spoiler sources. The Glee season 6 spoilers, and earlier Idol showcase spoilers (which turned out to be true) all came from tried and true and completely 100% trustworthy sources. Also, I managed to spoil the bulk of the Top 48 successfully. Unfortunately, I relied on people I did not know for the Top 24 and phony “fight” story.
Again. Heartfelt and embarrassed apologies to both Qaasim and Josh.
Also, just to be clear, I am withdrawing the list of Top 24 contestants I posted as well. Some of the names on that list are legit, but some of them aren’t.
Noah Gray, for instance, is NOT an Idol contestant.
