A mini adventure begins! X Factor judges Cheryl Cole and Mel B battle it out in black and white short skirts at the first X Factor auditions
It looked like the battle of the mini skirts at the first X Factor auditions, as judges Cheryl Cole and Mel B arrived in tiny numbers.
Cheryl’s white outfit was complete with an off-white pleated skirt, while Mel had chosen a black and golden studded number.
Clearly both judges had physically prepared for this day, as both their legs looked toned to perfection as they arrived in Manchester.

Caroline Flack became known for her love of shorts thanks to her hosting gig on The Xtra Factor.
And now it looks like her replacement Sarah-Jane Crawford is following in her footsteps by showing off a bit of leg on the first day of X Factor auditions.
Sarah-Jane, 29, arrived in a leather mini-skirt paired with a white shirt, black pussy-bow and platform sandals at Lancashire County Cricket Club, Manchester.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the former Girls Aloud singer is seated far from Louis Walsh, amid rumours that Cheryl wanted Simon to ditch him from the show.

The Compass singer made her way to the capital’s Covent Garden Hotel, where she was able to utilise one of their high-spec machines to see the face of her soon-to-arrive bundle of joy.

He told the Press Association: ‘It’s done, the takeover is complete.’

The first-time writer posted her story, After, in 300 daily installments, ultimately amassing more than 800million reads before Gallery Books offered her a six-figure advance to turn the stories into a book, according to Billboard.

Ella Henderson has overtaken mid-week leaders 5 Seconds Of Summer to spend a second week at Number 1 with Ghost.
X Factor star Ella Henderson today spends a second week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.
The 18-year-old, who claimed the top spot last Sunday with her debut release, Ghost, has fought off tough competition from Australian boyband 5 Seconds Of Summer to retain her chart crown.
5SOS, who are new in at Number 2 today with their latest single Don’t Stop, had been leading the race to Number 1 all week. However, in one of the closest fought chart battles of 2014 so far, Ella pipped them to the post at the eleventh hour with a winning margin of nearly 3,000 copies.
