Spoilers for Saturday and Sunday!
The TOP 3 finalists will compete in the final of the X Factor this weekend. Let’s see what the producers have in store for us.
SATURDAY
Take That & TOP 3 – Rule The World
Each finalist will reprise a song from the earlier rounds.
Andrea Faustini – Earth Song (Michael Jackson)
Ben Haenow – Man In The Mirror (Michael Jackson)
Fleur East – Uptown Funk (Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars)
Celebrity Duets – Nothing is confirmed. When the guest line-up for the final was first revealed, I assumed Fleur East would sing “All About That Bass” with Meghan Trainor and Ben Haenow “Thinking Out Loud” with Ed Sheeran, since both finalists performed those songs on the show. I also assumed Andrea Faustini would get to sing with Sam Smith. However, now we know that Ed Sheeran is actually singing his next single on Saturday and it looks like Meghan is performing her only UK hit alone? Meanwhile, Sam Smith is set to perform on Sunday, with a choir. There were rumors of Simon Cowell trying to get Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars to duet with Fleur East, but soon after I read that Simon decided to have Fleur East do “Uptown Funk” last Saturday after Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars cancelled their guest performance on the finale.
