What will TOP 8 sing on Saturday?
It’s week 5 of the live shows and it’s Big Band week. This theme previously appeared in seasons 3, 4, 5 and 6. Songs like Pink’s “Get This Party Started”, Christina Aguilera’s “Candyman”, Ricky Martin’s “She Bangs” and Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary” were performed between the regular Big Band numbers.

Well, that’s it. No “She Bangs” during Big Band week this year.
And on Sunday, Robbie Williams and Celine Dion will grace the stage. Robbie has an album of standards coming out next month and he will be singing the lead single “Go Gentle”. Last year Robbie gave Louis Walsh a lap dance, I presume it won’t happen this year.
Celine Dion has a new album out, I think she will likely sing the lead single “Loved Me Back to Life”.
Oh and next week’s theme is The Great British Songbook. Whatever that means. Songs by British artists?
