Last night we finally saw some viable groups! Hooray.
Keep your eyes on the spoilers.
Souli Roots – “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley
Souli is back with her big personality. She looks amazing, but her singing leaves a lot to be desired. Gary says no, the other three put her through.
Lydia Lucy
Wants to prove the judges she is too good for a girlband. Sings “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson. This isn’t bad at all and the crowd loves it. The judges loved ii, too. She is through.
Jeanette Akua
Great looking girl from South Africa. She wasn’t shown last night, but she gets 4 yeses tonight. According to spoilers, she gets put into a girlband in bootcamp.
Rough Copy
They enter the arena from the audience. It looks they are ready to “rock” and they they sing One Direction’s “Little Things”. The audience loves them. Sharon says they shouldn’t get over-confident. They are through to the next round.
James McDonald, 25, bus driver
He sings, the audience likes it, but the judges think his voice is limited and generic. Nicole says yes, the others say no. Poor guy.
Lucy McGuire – NO
More bad auditions …
Stephanie Woods, 20.
Sings “I Drove All Night” by Celine Dion. Sounds awful. The judges think the song is too dated. They ask her to sing another song and she sings “Songbird”. The judges put her through. Gary still thinks her song choices are too dated.
Kingsland
They sing “Treasure” by Bruno Mars. Those harmonies aren’t good. But, the judges love them anyway and put them through.
Next of Kin
They sing “Amazed”. 4 x YES
Nicholas McDonald, 16
Gary thought he was not ready yet after his room audition. This time he sings Christina Perri’s “For a Thousand Years”. A ballad, but at least it’s more current than “You Raise Me Up”. The audience loves him. The judges think he absolutely nailed it. 4 x YES.
The fifth judge! The X Factor audience help save Stephanie Woods while making their jeering presence felt at Wembley
Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger may be sitting in the judge’s chair, but it seems there is a fifth opinionated voice forcing itself to be heard at The X Factor auditions.
The 12,500 strong audience have been cheering and jeering with every performance, but proving to be most vocal when they don’t agree with the judges.
And thankfully their united call helped Stephanie Woods make her way to boot camp after a duff first performance.

Battle of the boybands! Rough Copy, Kingsland and Next Of Kin all make it through to X Factor boot camp
With the success of JLS and One Direction, the X Factor should take pride in its boyband alumni.
And it seems the judges are looking for the next male act to follow in their footsteps, by putting three groups through to the next stage of the talent show.
Rough Copy, Kingsland and Next Of Kin will all be battling it out at boot camp, and it looks to be a tough competition.
