In a new interview with USA Today, X Factor 2 runner up, Carly Rose Sonenclar, reveals that her option has been picked up by Simon Cowell’s Syco Records.
With Cowell’s Syco Entertainment exercising its option for Sonenclar’s recording contract, she has begun working with producer Toby Gad and Autumn Rowe, her X Factor vocal coach. “I’m writing all the time, just by myself,” she says. “It doesn’t necessarily have to be me with somebody else in the room. I have a piano in my house. I can always go down to the piano and play, and write by myself. So when I do have a session set up with somebody, I can come in with stuff.”
