X Factor’s Josh Krajcik to Sing on The Bachelor, Plus Eliminated Contestant Feels Set Up

I hope you guys are enjoying Shnugs hilarious coverage of The Bachelor! She’ll be back next Monday at 8/7c with more from Juan Pablo and the ladies. The new season 18 extended promo (watch below) promises a season full of wack jobs and cray cray. Hooray.

Next week, X Factor 1 runner-up, Josh Krajcik will help Juan Pablo woo Clair as he takes her on romantic, snow filled date! An ABC press release teases next week’s episode.

The 18 remaining bachelorettes move into the mansion with hopes that they will end up as Juan Pablo’s soul mate and future wife. Every single bachelorette is out to capture his heart. However, the Bachelor will have his first one-on-one date with Clare, a spunky woman who is about to be surprised with a “winter wonderland.” Another individual date with Kat, finds Juan Pablo jetting her off to Salt Lake City, Utah, to race in the “Electric Run.” Finally, 13 exuberant women show a different side to the Bachelor, as they participate in a photo shoot to benefit the charity “Best Friends Society.” Tensions run high at the cocktail party as one teary-eyed woman may second-guess her decision to be away from her son. It doesn’t take long for the drama to ramp up, and an intense rose ceremony lies ahead, on “The Bachelor,” MONDAY, JANUARY 13 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Juan Pablo, who likes to call himself “El Bachelor,” flirtatiously blindfolds Clare and proceeds to drive her to a secret location on the outskirts of Los Angeles. To her amazement, she discovers that a snow-covered fantasy has been created for them right in the middle of balmy Los Angeles. The couple spends a magical evening sledding down mountains, building snowmen and ice skating on a private rink. The Bachelor uncovers an emotional side to Clare as she recounts the heart-wrenching story of her father’s death and how it has impacted her and her ability to open her heart to love. Later, the couple shares passionate kisses as they dance the night away while being serenaded in a private concert by singer-songwriter Josh Krajcik. But will all of this be enough for Juan Pablo to offer Clare a rose or will she be sent home?

Meanwhile, the free-spirited Lucy causes a stir back at the mansion when she decides to go topless in the hot tub over the objections of her new roommates. What will Juan Pablo think about the risqué behavior and will he consider this woman on the right track to be a stepmom to Camila?

The Bachelor whisks away another lucky bachelorette, Kat, by private jet to an unknown location. He surprises his date mid-air when he changes into a glow-in-the dark athletic outfit – complete with a neon heart – and then gifts her with her own sparkling sporty ensemble. When they land in Salt Lake City, they are led to the starting line of the “Electric Run “ – the world’s premier nighttime 5k run. The two are surrounded by hundreds of enthusiastic runners, but will Kat survive the chaos and make it to the finish line to accept Juan Pablo’s rose?

Next, 13 women meet up with the handsome single dad for a photo shoot benefitting “Best Friends Society,” an organization that focuses on the plight of animals in need. Each bachelorette is assigned a dog and takes a photo with the pup and Juan Pablo. However, when several revealing costumes are unveiled, two women go into an emotional tailspin and have second thoughts about whether they should continue with the shoot. Lucy rushes to the aid of one of her struggling counterparts by offering to go “au natural.” But at that evening’s after party, one woman steals the spotlight when she has a meltdown over not getting one-on-one time with Juan Pablo and derails the night. Will Juan Pablo forgive this bachelorette and chalk up the outburst to nerves or will this be the end of the line for her?

Finally at the cocktail party, the pressure is getting to the women. Single mom Cassandra isn’t sure she made the right decision to leave her son to try and find love with no guarantees of a happy ending. Will Juan Pablo be able to dry her tears and assuage her fears? The drama ramps up at the rose ceremony and at the end of the night, 15 women remain in the chase for Juan Pablo’s heart.

And in other news, Kylie Lewis, who was eliminated last night after a humiliating moment during the Rose Ceremony, is shocked SHOCKED that Bachelor producers would throw her under the bus for the sake of “good TV.”

Kylie Lewis tells us, producers told her to do 3 things that she now believes resulted in leaving the show roseless:

— They told her to dye her hair from strawberry blonde to red

— They advised her to wear a pink dress instead of purple

— They had her tweet Juan Pablo immediately after they met for the first time … making her look desperate

Kylie — who’s an artist — says she had drawn a picture of Juan which she intended to give him to create a good first impression, but producers wanted a lame tweet instead, making her look like an immature ditz.

And as if getting rejected wasn’t bad enough, Kylie says producers went out of their way to air her extremely embarrassing misstep on last night’s show.

If you missed it, Juan selected another bachelorette (Kat) to receive a rose, and Kylie thought she heard her name … so she walked up to get the flower. When she realized it was a mistake, she was humiliated, and she’s crushed producers chose to air it.

How are there people, in the year 2014, who sign up for a reality show NOT understanding that it’s fake and manipulated? I did feel sorry for her when she mis-heard her name during the Rose Ceremony. But of course, the producers were going to air that. They wouldn’t be doing their jobs otherwise.
