UPDATE: Reportedly, the song is actually an old One Direction demo and outtake from the FOUR sessions. Not surprised, to be honest. If Zayn really wants his privacy back, he needs to disappear for awhile, but not before telling the people around him to STFU.
Well, so much for wanting to live like a normal 22 year old guy. That was the reason Zayn Malik gave last week for leaving One Direction. Since he announced his departure, he gave an interview to the Sun and was seen entering a recording studio over the weekend with UK producer, Naughty Boy.
A song form that session, “I Won’t Mind” was tweeted to followers last night after a twitter battle with current One Direction member, Louis Tomlinson.
Although the remaining members of the band wished Zayn well when he announced his departure from the group last week, which left them to finish a massive world tour without their fifth member, I have to wonder if they are feeling a tiny bit misled at this point.
After a series of braggy tweets from Naughty Boy about working with the ex-Directioner, Louis kind of lost it and tweeted this:

Naughty Boy’s response was to tweet a link to the “I Won’t Mind” demo on Soundcloud with a snarky comment.
let the music do the talking guys. thank us later. :) x https://t.co/j7V2c7v1Yl — Naughty Boy (@NaughtyBoyMusic) March 31, 2015
The audio has been deleted since, but lives on via YouTube. The song is a very rough cut of what sounds like a ballad. There’s really not much to judge here. What do you think?
