David Cook

Of course the editors of Glamour magazine invited David Cook to attend their party to celebrate Glamour’s new Senior West Coast Editor James Patrick Herman. They know he likes the women’s magazines. The party took place last night in Los Angeles. More photos from the party here.

    Click on the period, abbysee.

Hey there, Mr. T, that’s a lot of jewelry. (I love you. Call me)

This is somewhat OT but didn’t someone post a link yesterday from an article that said KC took Cookie to her stylist for a new ‘do? Am I missing something or does his hair still look the same?

  5. 5 Trina Jun 26th, 2008 at 4:46 pm

That’s one molten hot lava bomb yo! Even if he is over-accessorized. How the hell did he end up at a party like this anyway? Is a Cosmo party next?

mj, you’re just all kinds of awesomeness! Thanks once again! What do you do at a Glamour Party?

You just know each necklace means something to him! I like the brown shirt!

Am I missing something or does his hair look worse? :neutral_wp:

The pics are beautiful. Enough said. :D

Hmmmmmmmm. Still look great, sugar. I think the left side of his hair is more forward, towards his face, than before. And it DOES look pretty dark. That blurb said he got new COLOR too. So, maybe so! Really, though, it’s not A LOT different than last week. I hope he didn’t pay a whole lot for it. Or maybe KC paid! Yes, when is the Cosmo party, please? heehee. He’s so funny. Ya look great, sweetie. Going to look here. for more pics now. Thanks mj!

I’m betting that was a well-attended party! Lucky girls.

I do like the darker hair better but I think it’s a little too short or maybe just too flat. The style of his hair on the cover of TOML is a much better look.

David Cook - you look tired and pale, not as good as I have seen you. No rest for the weary I guess but the only way to the top is to get out there and stay in the public eye.

After much thought and prolonged picture perusing, because somebody’s got to do it, I’ve decided that it’s the darker hair that is the real key to why he looks sooo different now, compared to the Early Season. I love it, but it does make him look a lot older. Hair color changes his looks dramatically, whether it’s pink, red, blond, or dark brown. I’d love to see what he looks like with this color, but clean shaven. Just for research purposes, though, ’cause I’m a fan of the whiskers. Even clean-shaven, with this dark hair I think he still wouldn’t look as young as he did for Hello.

Okay, I have officially gone over to the dark side. I blame the hair dye.

Hmm, the first thought that popped into my head when looking at those pictures was that I doubt the word nerd and the very vacant Audrina had much to talk about! Hopefully he didn’t drop too many big words on her.

He still looks good with the darker hair but I think I prefer the color in the WDW picture (and it matches his scruff better).

Honestly, I can’t believe I’m sitting here contemplating this man’s hair color. What the hell is happening to me…

I like his hair there. If it’s due to KC’s stylist, then he/she is doing a nice job. However…I’m finding it hard to believe that the same stylist who is responsible for ^ that look is pushing KC’s extensions. They’re pretty bad.

There are at least 4 chains hanging around his neck. Yikes.

OTOH, it’s refreshing that the worst thing one can criticize about an artist at this point is their problem with overaccessorizing.

  17. 17 sumidol Jun 27th, 2008 at 12:55 am

Yes - I didnt notice it before - his hair is darker and I really like the color. That must be what is making him look a lot pastier then usual. Vitamin D in SMALL doses really is good for you David, but love your smile.

His hair is a hot mess - it appears to be having a greasy nervous breakdown and down right flat …. seeking peace! Bring back the AI stylists!

He has a penchant for WAY too much and then everything gets lost in the mix.

Make “a” (singular) statement, not a hot mess DC! Change it up and, if you can’t, get someone who can.

DC is getting cheesy y’all !

    Is a Cosmo party next?

    Maybe a Seventeen party? ;)

    17 Questions with David Cook

American Idol winner David Cook answers Seventeen’s juicy questions, including why he’d like to trade places with his dog!

    1. When was your first kiss?
I was in seventh grade, so that makes me how old? Twelve or 13.

    2. Who’s your celebrity crush?
Not sure, actually. I’m gonna say Burt Bacharach.

    3. What’s a girl fashion trend that confuses you?
The whole uncomfortable-shoes thing. I understand to a degree the “pain is beauty” thing, but the whole scrunching your toes into a shoe that’s two sizes too small because it matches your dress seems a little absurd to me.

    4. What’s the girly movie you secretly love?
    Three to Tango.

    5. What’s your TV guilty pleasure?
    Mythbusters…

The most “hair” intensive stuff I’ve read since the Taylor “gel” comments. His hair looks pretty much the same to me. :)
I’m just wondering why he went to a Glamour party. It’s not like he needs the publicity

  21. 21 gingerly Jun 27th, 2008 at 8:57 am

I think he looks great. I don’t overanalyze though. I just look at his amazing eyebrows and beautiful smile and I’m good. Just please never go blond…

  22. 22 spritely Jun 27th, 2008 at 9:41 am

gingerly, did you like his hair in “Hello”? He was pretty blond there. I thought he looked great, but I like the dark better.

Hair intensive, yes, lol, jpfan. Tomorrow’s seminar: nails. :)

  23. 23 voteDC Jun 27th, 2008 at 11:38 am

I think he looked the best when he sang “Hello”. Sexy and young, not as cougar-type as now.

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think it’s during the “Hello” performance that I fell in love with him. That’s why I loved it.

  24. 24 teedubs Jun 27th, 2008 at 12:42 pm

I bet KC was jealous of the pics with Audrina. She’s much hotter than KC and has her own hair. It’s good for him to see what else is out there.

The hot reality show chicks, of course.

    Also because he can.
