Ha! Remember that rumor I told you about Kelly Clarkson appearing on the CMA awards to sing a duet with Jason Aldean?
A brand new ABC promo confirms that Kelly will indeed be appearing, as will Jason. Although the clip does not mention them together, it’s a safe bet that the two will sing the duet they recorded, “Don’t You Wanna Stay”, for Jason’s upcoming album.
The 60s clip features CMA co-hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley playing air hockey as they announce the usual suspects–Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Keith Urban etc.
And, the big surprise guest will be actress, Gwyneth Paltrow, who fancies herself a country singer these days.
Carrie is nominated for two awards, Album of the Year for Play On, and Female Vocalist of the Year.
Check out the clip after the jump. Carrie and Brad are really cute together.
The 44th Annual CMA Awards air Wednesday November 10 on ABC.
Thanks Windmills
