Adam Lambert’s got a lot on his plate at the moment.
He’s in the midst of recording his post-Idol debut, set to be released on November 24th, and he’s got a song on the soundtrack of the highly-anticipated diasaster flick, 2012.
It’s a pretty exciting time to be a glittery alien from the planet fierce!
News of collaborators for Adam’s highly anticipated debut come every day, mostly through the twitterverse.
Yesterday, @adamlambert tweeted, “Last studio day w Rob Cavallo! Can’t wait for everyone to hear our glam rock!!!”
As it turns out, Cavallo has produced 7 tracks for Adam Lambert’s upcoming album, in addition to working on “Time For Miracles”, the theme song for the upcoming disaster flick, “2012“.
That tidbit comes from a press release announcing the appointment of Cavallo to the newly created role of Chief Creative Officer at Warner Music Group. The emmy-winning producer has helmed records for David Cook, Green Day, Paramour and My Chemical Romance.
Which Cavallo-produced songs make the cut for the finished album has yet to be determined–Adam is still busy with the recording phase of the disc, due to be released on November 24.
Cavallo joins a list of collaborators working on Adam’s album, including RedOne, Ryan Tedder, Greg Wells, Claude Kelly, Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Linda Perry.
