I’m still in Chicago, hanging out in the hotel lobby of the trendy W hotel (Oh, I blend right in, let me tell ya) waiting for my late flight. So I’m just posting away here!
A couple of things: I got a ton of GREAT photos on this trip, so I think I’m going to post the best ones in a gallery and post the link here. That won’t happen until tomorrow sometime, so stay tuned for that.

There were some requests for Brooke White videos, and alas, I got none. I had intentions of videoing “Yellow”, the piano was positioned in such a way, that I couldn’t see Brooke at all. So, I promise, I’ll get something at my next concert. I’ll be attending a few when the Idols finally wend their way to the East coast in August…
Alright. I’ve got a three more videos: Jason Castro performing “Daydream”, David Cook performing “Hello” and the group song, “Please Don’t Stop the Music.” Check that out…I pretty much followed Michael Johns around. Hilarious hijinks ensue! I have no idea how Carly got hurt during that number, all appeared to be well on stage…

Your videos are great. During the start of Hello, I wanted to say to the girl jumping around by you, “Don’t get in front of MJ! If you don’t muck this up, you (and we ) will be able to enjoy this performance again and again….”
Ha, love that little move you caught of MJ dancing and it looks like Brooke was getting her groove thang on way more than I have ever seen before in that group song, wasnt she? I think that David Cook was looking right at you Mj as he was being lowered down, he was - wasnt he??
I’m looking at Please Don’t Stop the Music - and I’m dying to know what went on between Michael and David at the point where they sometimes do the robot dance. It looks like Michael was waiting for him to do it - and David messed with him by not doing it - because afterwards David puts his hand on Michaels back - passes him and starts laughing.
I didn’t know quite where to put this tonight but I’m watching the ESPYS and they just used TOML. It went great with the segment!

Jason makes me happy. I love his set for the tour. He had a lot of us since he first sang “Daydream” during Top 24 week, so it was a perfect choice for the tour, IMO.

Also - loved MJ and DC and their interaction on stage. They may only get a few seconds together each night on the tour, but they sure do make the most of it.

I’m not sure if this is the place for it, but I just read some things about what happened tonight in Ohio, and I’m so upset. Appearantly some fans sprayed water on Michael Johns, and security had to rush all of the Idols to the buses. Also, just heard that yesterday in Chicago some fans stalked the hotel, got in, and chased David Cook in the halls.
IMHO, if this behavior continues, they should stop the bus signings. If fans can’t be respectful and mature, there shouldn’t be fan encounters anymore.
I also read about the hotel incident here. It’s sad.
WOW!!!! How crazed can these people fuckin’ be!!!??? I really do hope the bus signings stop…that will get them away from crazy delusional fans and give them more rest!!!
Once people start physically attacking the Idols (and this time was water, but it could just as easily have been something harmful and dangerous), they are going to HAVE to stop the fan/Idol contact. That will be heartbreaking for a lot of the fans, and upsetting for the Idols, too, because this is a big chance for them to thank their fans and consolidate their fanbases.
That is insane. I wouldn’t be surprised if contact with the idols becomes more restricted from here on out.
It’s always fun to watch the cheezy group songs. Funny that DC pulled that on Michael.

You know what? That really bites for other SANE fans (like me) who havent gone bus stalking yet that are planning to, and now we might not get our chance! Some people have no fucking sense!

Jason apparently had to make a complaint because a fan made very inappropriate contact with him O__O I don’t think I even want to know where he was harassed lol.
Thanks for the videos and pics MJ. I was at the concert and it was amazing! I hate to hear about the hotel stalkers. Doesn’t surprise me tho’ to some extent. We got a lot of autographs after the show and I think this group has been more accessible than any other. It sucks that some fans might ruin it for others.
MJ what kind of camera do you use? My pics and videos suck from inside the concert and my camera takes horrible pics at night. Yours doesn’t seem to have that problem!
Forgot to add that I wish David Hernandez would have been there to replace Kristi Lee. We laughed after she left the bus line that night. She turned to everyone and said “Thanks for coming to my concert!”
She was the first out to sign autographs after the show, tho’.

Thanks to MJ for the spectacular videos and still photos. The closeness to the stage and at the bus lines is such a plus!
Hope the few “fans” — who are evidently manhandling some of the idols and stalking their hotels, etc. — will grow some brains and stop this obnoxious/dangerous behavior. It’s especially sad to take advantage of Season 7’s Idols this way because they’ve been so generous in making themselves available at the buses. They’ve shown such good humor and friendliness in relating to their fans.

I watched some of the first videos of “Hello,” and obviously they were good, but this one here has to be the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen, eyeliner and all. Thank you for that video.
As for the stupid stalking fans, it’s not surprising, but it’s really upsetting that they don’t even understand they’re doing something wrong.
Off-topic, but I heard TOML for the first time outside of my TV, ipod, or laptop; it was playing in an outlet store…and of course, I squealed with joy.

LOL, I’ve seen that video. Though this apparently happened last night. A Cook fan on IdolForums mentioned a fan’s “highly inappropriate” touchy-feely behaviour concerning Jason & said “I’ll leave it at that”. Then, apparently, a mother later adviced Jason to report what she saw at the early busses to which Jason responded rather uncomfortably “Yeah, I did did……” Haha poor kid! I assume it was more than the Arm Rape lmao.
